After years in both the treatment room and the education space, I began to notice the same pattern,
clients coming in with real concerns, only to receive generic treatments using the same products as everyone else.
They were often guided toward more expensive services, leaving with temporary results and little understanding of their skin.

That was the breaking point. Truth & Skin was created to be different.

Where It Started
My approach is deeply personal.
After struggling with cystic acne caused by an undiagnosed autoimmune condition, I experienced firsthand the frustration of having no real answers, only temporary fixes that barely worked.
Through that journey, I began to understand the profound impact inflammation has on the body and the skin.
That discovery became the foundation of what is now The Truth & Skin Method
an approach dedicated to uncovering the “why” behind your skin and guiding you toward real, lasting solutions.

A Little About Caryssa
In 2022, I earned my license as a Facial Specialist through the Florida Board of Cosmetology.
Over the next two years, I had the privilege of starting my esthetic career teaching aspiring estheticians in Pensacola, Florida—sharing my passion for skincare while continuing to work hands-on with clients.
In May 2024, I launched Truth & Skin with a clear intention:
to create a space centered on the true health of your skin and body, while fostering an environment where every client feels comfortable, understood, and supported.
